Sojourn Cellars 2011 Springオファー

Sojourn Cellarsから2011年春のオファーが来ました。

2009 Sonoma Coast Pinot noir $39 [6]
The 2009 Sonoma Coast Pinot noir is the most concentrated and complex Sonoma Coast blend we have bottled to date. The blend includes fruit from nine unique blocks, primarily from vineyards at the southern end of the Sonoma Coast appellation. Showing aromas of dark cherry, pomegranate and sweet oak, the wine's texture is lush yet taut, with a subtle edge of acidity. The wine is drinking well now and is an incredible value for your wine-buying dollar!

2009 Sangiacomo Vineyard, Sonoma Coast Pinot noir $48 [4]
Climate is key to the Sangiacomo Vineyard's ability to produce outstanding Pinot noir, and 2009 was no exception. A long, even growing season resulted in mature flavors with ideal natural acidity. Like preceeding vintages, the 2009 Sangiacomo Vineyard Pinot noir has a rich, dark fruit profile and a luscious, creamy texture. In 2009 we blended Swan and Pommard clones with our traditional blocks of 115 and 777. The new clones add layers of complex earth and forest floor to this perennial favorite wine.

2009 Gap's Crown Vineyard, Sonoma Coast Pinot noir $48 [4]
Situated off Roberts Road, Gap's Crown is a high-end hillside vineyard that continues to garner acclaim. Our blocks of clone 115 and 828 have pure western exposure and benefit from the cool microclimate of the site as well as the natural vine stress created by the severe terrain. The result is a bold, concentrated wine with a velvety hue, dark fruit aromas and hints of baking spice. In the mouth, supple tannins lead to a long, lingering finish. This wine is a terrific follow-up to the well-received 2007 and 2008 vintages.

2009 Rodgers Creek Vineyard, Sonoma Coast Pinot noir $48 [4]
In 2009, our second vintage working with fruit from the Rodgers Creek Vineyard, we fermented our block of clone 777 whole-cluster and blended it with two blocks of the Pommard clone. The result is a wine with verve and depth complementing rich spice and dark cherry flavors. This vintage has a pure fruit profile while still showing the nuances of mushroom, earth and Asian spice that dominated the inaugural 2008 vintage.

2008 Home Ranch Vineyard, Sonoma Valley Cabernet Sauvignon $39 [4]
The 2008 Home Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon has achieved a new level of depth and concentration and represents our best result from this vineyard yet. Expressive, with explosive blueberry aromatics leading to hints of chocolate mint, this wine has lush texture framed by fine-grained tannins. The Home Ranch has developed quite a following, and we believe fans will be very happy once again with this celebrated, value-priced wine.

2008 Beckstoffer Vineyard Georges III, Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon $95 [4]
In 2008 we were able to secure our first Cabernet Sauvignon from the world-renowned Beckstoffer Vineyard Georges III, located in Rutherford in the heart of the Napa Valley. F block soils are primarily sandy loam with a fair amount of rock from an old creek bed. Defined by its lush, full body and lingering flavors, this wine seems to find every corner of your mouth. Sweet red fruit brightens flavors of cassis, boysenberry and hints of chocolate. We are thrilled with the result of our first effort from this storied vineyard.
