Sojourn Cellarsから秋のオファーが来ました.

2007 Demuth Vineyard, Anderson Valley Pinot noir $48 [2]
At 1600 ft, the Demuth vines struggle to grow in clay soil atop thick shale plates. Idyllic 2007 growing conditions enabled us to pick in October, ensuring optimal ripening and naturally balanced structure. The nose explodes with strawberry, raspberry, black cherry, clove, root beer and forest floor. In the mouth, the wine is round and full-bodied with bright acidity, smooth tannins and mineral and mushroom touches. Texture is smooth and silky with a seamless finish. 94 points, 150 cases

2007 Alder Springs Vineyard, Mendocino County Pinot noir $48 [2]
This gem of a vineyard lies near Laytonville in northern Mendocino County. Multiple clones and blocks contribute to this wine's complex mix of flavors and aromas. Dark cherry, clove, licorice and spice provide a deep, mysterious bouquet. Roasted cherry, cola and cedar follow in the mouth, leading to refined textures with broad shoulders. The wine finishes long with fine-grained fruit tannins lingering on the palate. Patience will reward those willing to cellar this wine. 92 points, 175 cases

2007 Sonoma Coast Pinot noir $36 [4]
All four vineyards used in this blend benefitted from idyllic temperature and rainfall conditions, ripening at a near perfect pace. The quality of each component has exceeded expectations, and the wine has integrated nicely, producing multiple layers of flavor and texture. Aromas of fresh strawberries and raspberries with a touch of minerality lead to hints of forest floor in the mouth. This wine is medium-bodied with nice balance, crisp acidity, and flavors that linger on the palate. 95 points

2006 Sonoma Valley Cabernet Sauvignon $48 [6]
This cuvee is a classic, hillside-valley floor blend of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. Ripe blackberries, dark cherries and notes of anise and tobacco greet the nose. Flavors of black currants, cherries and plum follow, framed by supple tannins. The 2006 vintage is a bigger wine, heavier and lusher than previous vintages. 2006 represents the best we have seen from these vineyards, and the resulting blend is an exciting Sonoma Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. 275 cases

2006 Mountain Terraces Vineyard, Sonoma Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve $75 [6]
Grapes for this hillside Cabernet Sauvignon were grown exclusively at the Mountain Terraces Vineyard, high above Glen Ellen on the southwestern slope of the Mayacama Range. The vineyard was planted along terraces climbing from 600 to 1800 feet. We sourced fruit from two blocks, one planted in 1992 in rialyte soil and the other planted in 1993 in basalt soil. Opulent, dark fruit layered with cherries and black tea lead to voluptuous texture and fine-grained tannins. 145 cases
