メーリングリストに入った訳ではないのですが、一昨年Sojourn Sangiacomo Vineyards Pinot noirのファーストヴィンテージを購入したためか2008年春リリースワインのオファーが来ました． 日本ではまだまだ知られていませんが、Pinot Daysにも出展しなかなか好評をだったように思います． 2006 Sonoma Coast Pinot noir　$36 [6] Our 2006 Sonoma Coast Pinot noir is a blend of three vineyards and six clones, creating multiple layers of complexity. Windsor Oaks fruit (new in 2006) provided a great base, which we blended with fruit from the Sangaicomo Roberts Road and Small Vines Estate vineyards. Pomegranate, cherry and currants are present on the nose, and roasted cherries, herbs, damp earth and vanilla permeate the mouth. 2006 Sangiacomo Vineyards, Pinot noir $48 [6] The third vintage of our flagship Pinot noir from the Sangiacomo family is an 80/20 blend from their Roberts Road and Lakeville vineyards. The nose exudes floral overtones with ripe cherries. Sweet cherries and raspberries dominate the palate, along with rich spice and earth. This wine is a bit more elegant and reserved than its predecessors. We think it's fabulous! 2005 Sonoma Valley Cabernet Sauvignon　$48 [6] Our classic, 100% Cabernet Sauvignon hillside-Valley floor blend comprises 70% fruit from the Mountain Terraces Vineyard and 30% fruit from select, prime Sonoma Valley vineyards. The muscular hillside fruit is delicately balanced with a touch of bright acidity. Red currants and blackberry complement each other on the nose, while the smooth texture is accented by mocha and dark chocolate in the mouth.
